Edward Crutchley launched his eponymous menswear label in 2015, after 4 seasons Edward has branched into womenswear as part of his on-schedule London Fashion Week seasonal showing. Inspired by fashion history, Edward’s designs are based on a palette of rich textiles and artisanal techniques at the centre of his brand. Reinventing older textiles techniques Edward uses silk jacquards, heavy wools and cashmeres, bringing a new sense of luxury to staple bomber jackets, tailored trousers and shirting for men’s and womenswear’s. Having worked with Pringle and Kanye West, and currently collaborating with, amongst others, Louis Vuitton, his experience and understanding of the menswear marketplace is second to none. A dedicated discipline of this alma mater, Central Saint Martins’ ‘Research, research, research, research’ philosophy, his clothes are grounded in a tradition with a true response to and rethinking of craftsmanship and materials.
